Owner and Principal Designer, Trisha Monk Asid,Cid,Rid, has over 35 years experience in the Interior Design Industry. Trisha lives by the motto, “home is where your story begins,”she believes that everyone tells their story through the way they live their life. Many of the Trisha Monk Interiors clients are repeat customers, and referrals from happy customers.
Trisha began her Career by Opening her own Design Studios in 1983, where she was involved in Working with Residental Builders and Commercial Builders Trisha Monk is a graduate of UTA Arlington, a member of American Society of Interior Designers. She is a Texas local (born and raised).. With her interest in all things design she is able to work on many different types of projects, and within budgets for both high-end and budget conscious design.
To achieve a professional look requires appropriate scale, proportion, balance, rhythm and emphasis. Designers like myself have formal training and hands-on experience in the aesthetics (furniture, fabric, wall coverings, window treatments, floor coverings, etc.) and the technical (lighting, home automation, etc.) We hone our skills on the job, year after year and take refresher courses to keep up-to-date with new products and trends in today’s rapidly changing environment. There is nothing more personal or more exciting than designing interiors for our clients. In short, we set the stage, creating beautiful, functional backgrounds for living.
